Classic Country Cottages has been creating dream country homes with its Country House range for many years now, still keeping within the tradition of truly handcrafted homes and increasingly incorporating the innovative styling and lifestyle features that have made its homes so popular for modern country living.

The Country range of homes, whilst all different in their own right, include the same theme of open plan living, dining and kitchen areas leading out on to wide dressed hardwood decks via large bi-fold or duo sliding doors.

Classic designs

In keeping with the spacious and trademark natural light of the Classic Country Cottage designs, the elevated hand pitched cathedral ceilings are enhanced by gable triangle windows, and presented in pale woods or lime-wash. Tall wood-framed windows and doors complete the natural feel and charm of the homes, with polished hardwood timber flooring featured throughout the living, kitchen and dining areas.

On the open decks wide timber hand railing is complemented by the timber picket balastrading. The same approach is often utilised on the large custom-made maple open internal stair cases to further enhance the sense of life in the country. The exterior is clad in a range of primeline smooth finished boards, shiplap or a rusticated pine board. The well placed contrast of stained timber brings the house into direct contact with nature, seeming to almost absorb the richness of the landscape.

Indoor/Outdoor life

Country Home options include split levels through the living area, rumpus room, master bedroom or even an entry way with double entry door and highlights. For outdoor living, full length hardwood steps take the guest to the deck areas with fully glazed courtyard areas to view the approaching storm�.

The Country Home is a special event, both for Classic Country Cottages, and for you the client, with some options being determined by block size/location, aspect and slope.
